MEET THE TEAM

At Bat First we have a team of experts passionate about cricket and helping our customers find their perfect bat! With that in mind, here are the people who run Bat First and B3 Cricket:

Michael Blatherwick Managing Director

Michael was one of the founders of B3 Cricket back in 2012. He is a lifelong cricketer and still plays for Notts 50+. He is also a passionate coach and currently doing his ECB level 3 coaching qualification.

Paul Blatherwick - Commercial Director

Paul has played and coached all his life and has a passion for all things cricket. Paul’s son, Jack, is making his way in the professional game at Lancashire CCC.

Gav Corns – Production Director

With over 20 years of bat making under his belt, there’s not a lot Gav doesn’t know about cricket bats. Gav’s playing days are behind him, but he is deeply involved with his local village club where his son plays. Gav is also a qualified rugby coach.

Tom Bowers – Sales and Service Manager

Tom loves his cricket and golf. Tom is a commanding middle order batsman and occasional ‘very’ off-spinner.
